We are indeed a massive, active community of writers, role-players, and creative-minded folks. Don't be afraid to dive right in, for the most part we're a friendly bunch who just want to tell stories. (:
If you have any questions about anything at all as you get started, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm almost always around to answer questions, and if I can't tell you something, then I can direct you to someone who will.
First off, I invite you to check out the RPG Rules (there are only five of them, don't worry!) which you can see from "Our Rules" at the top of the page, there. That should let you know the standards that we hold ourselves to, as a community.
Also, to get started and meet people, dive into the Community section of the website to get to know the folks that you'll likely be telling stories with! Our Forum Games section is a great place to get to know everyone and and get you first ten forum posts ready to go. The Creative Realm, too, is a place to just shoot the breeze.
