Senator Charles Schumer is trying to make a connection that would bring up to 600 jobs to Delaware County.The jobs would be created at a call center to be built in Hancock.? Schumer says he's pushing for funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.?

Schumer says the funding could help the Data Control Group company choose Delaware county over another spot in New York.
If it does set up operations, it would put it in an upgraded Becton Dickinson building, which shut down it's operations in 2002.
