Madonna?s halftime show features glitz, glamor, and controversy (Yahoo! News)

Unless you've just awoken from a coma or emerged from under a rock, you're probably aware of the rather popular?sporting event that was held over the weekend. For those who don't care about the game itself, or the?commercials, the halftime show provided ample entertainment, particularly a well-received performance by pop icon?Madonna.

Love her or hate her, the 53-year-old singer proved that she's still got enough juice to rock a pretty impressive performance. There's a certain amount of street cred that you need to ride into a stadium on a platform pulled by dozens of six-pack-ab-sporting hotties in pseudo-Roman garb, and Madonna certainly has it. With guests Nicki Minaj,?M.I.A., LMFAO, and Cee Lo Green (and his marching band), Madonna served up a medley of classics like "Vogue" and "Express Yourself" and her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin'," and finished with "Like a Prayer."

The only glitch other than a minor stumble from which she recovered almost immediately was from performer M.I.A., who made an obscene hand gesture and mumbled an expletive (though it was difficult to hear it clearly) during her appearance in "Give Me All Your Luvin'." An NBC spokesman apologized for the gaffe, saying that the network's time-delay system, which is supposed to catch and hide such incidents, didn't catch it in time.

Whether it's due to Madonna's performance or the not-terribly-shocking gesture by M.I.A., video of the halftime show is certainly racking up the views today!
